Coastal Restoration Camp!

The Institute for Human Development in partnership with the Southern University Office of Research and Strategic Initiatives, the School of Engineering and the Reimagine Women's Center Business Resource and Innovation Hub designed and facilitated a camp for area middle school students focused on 3-D Imaging and Printing tied to lessons about Coastal Restoration and Climate Change.

Dr. James Gilmore and Reimagine Women Center

Dr. James Gilmore, of the Institute for Human Development, presents two checks totaling $10,000 to the Reimage Women Business Center on its grand opening. In celebration of Women's History Month, these dollars will be used to design and facilitate a course for small businesses to learn how to respond to government bids and requests for proposals. Funding will also be used to train youth on how to protect Louisiana's coast through restoration.
